Description

Earlier this year South Yorkshire Pensions Authority launched two new funds to support economic development, unlocking much much-needed finance for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

A key criteria is that the business MUST be within South Yorkshire, have turnover £1m+ and looking for growth or shareholder liquidity.

So, if you are;

  • Needing funding to grow, but unsure of the funding available or where to start
  • Considering an Acquisition but have doubts over your ability to raise the finance?
  • Believe your team would be unable to raise finance for a Management Buy-out?

Whatever the reason - if you're currently looking to raise additional capital and your business is based within South Yorkshire, then this event is one you should not miss*. Experts and owner managers will take you through the full range of financing options available right now and what it's really like to take on additional finance.

  • traditional bank funding
  • debt
  • equity

*Due to the criteria for the funding to be covered, this event is only available to businesses trading within South Yorkshire

Our speakers will cover:

  • Andy Ryder, Corporate Finance Partner at Shorts will provide an introduction to this event
  • David Leonard, Relationship Director , HSBC will cover the options for funding through the traditional Bank route, with details of how HSBC can help
  • Paul Wainwright, Senior Investment Executive South Yorkshire, FW Capital leads the South Yorkshire Debt Fund which provides funding up to £2m for small and medium sized businesses in South Yorkshire. Paul will identify those businesses which may qualify, and how they can benefit from this source of funding.
  • Ben White, CEO at Phlux Technologies - Having received equity investment through Foresight Group, Ben will be giving an insight into the experiences of Phlux Technologies, from the perspective of someone who recently completed the process.
  • Peter Double, MD at Andel Ltd - Having received funding provided by FW Capital, Peter will provide insight into how this has helped Andel Ltd grow.
