The Doncaster Chamber Charity Showcase & Business Networking is your chance for charities and businesses to come together and forge meaningful partnerships. Charities have the opportunity to showcase their mission, organisation and what businesses can really do to make a difference. Businesses have the opportunity to meet with charities to find out who best aligns with being their charity of the year, meetings CSR targets or doing their bit locally for the community.

🗣Panel️
Hear from our panel of charity and business representatives on how they strive to build strong partnerships, face challenges and embrace opportunities.
David Hall, Fundraising & Communications Manager - Paces
David Hall is the Head of Fundraising at Paces, a leading charity supporting children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions, including MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s, and brain injuries. He has been part of the organisation for nearly six years, contributing to its mission to help individuals live more independent and fulfilling lives through Conductive Education—a holistic approach that combines learning and therapy to teach vital skills such as walking, talking, feeding, and communication.
At Paces, the focus is on ability, not disability. The charity provides a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment that fosters confidence, independence, and friendship. In his role, David leads the fundraising team and is responsible for driving income growth, raising awareness, and forging impactful partnerships. His work is key to expanding the reach and impact of Paces, ensuring more individuals benefit from the life-changing support and opportunities the organisation offers.
Neil Jones, Director - Treo Recruitment
As Director of Treo Recruitment, Neil leads with people, purpose, and partnership at the core of every decision. Treo’s values—People First, Community Focused, Partnership Over Profit, and Integrity in Everything—define not just how they recruit, but why they do it. Treo Recruitment proudly supports charities, CICs, and non-profits with cost-effective, values-led recruitment services that recognise the sector’s unique challenges. It’s not just about filling roles—it’s about helping meaningful causes thrive by finding the right people.
Beyond recruitment, Neil is deeply engaged in community development, youth sports, and social impact initiatives. Their commitment to being part of a charity panel reflects a belief that business and social good are not mutually exclusive—they should go hand in hand. Passionate about building stronger, more inclusive communities through purposeful work, Neil is always open to connecting with others who share that vision.
Sir Paul Edwards, Chairman - Mossobir Ali Foundation
Sir Paul has over 36 years of experience in education, primarily serving schools in challenging contexts across the Yorkshire and Humber region. Beginning his career as an English and Drama teacher, he went on to spend more than two decades in senior leadership, including roles as Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, DfE Adviser, National Leader of Education, and Chief Executive of a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
He played a key role in shaping national education policy, working closely with the Department for Education on the Trust Schools initiative and advising Ministers on the early development of MATs. In recognition of his contributions to education, Sir Paul was knighted in 2009. Since retiring in 2015, he has continued to support MATs with strategy and standards, while also dedicating time to charitable work.
